Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?
Abstract Acute myeloid leukaemia-myelodysplasia related (AML-MR) are clonal myeloid neoplasms with a poor prognosis. Acute basophilic leukaemia (ABL) is a rare subtype of AML characterized with rapid clinical course, symptoms of hyperhistaminemia, and resistance to therapy. We herein presented a case of a 67-year-old male with hematologic parameters met the criteria for AML-MR and ABL. This patient was diagnosed with AML-MR presented with ABL and classified to a high-risk category with TP53 mutation and complex karyotypes. He was sustained remission for 10 months after five courses of chemotherapy included decitabine. Then he relapsed and resisted multiple chemotherapies and eventually died of sepsis.
