Can a Treatment-Responsive Molecular Clock Independently Timestamp Psoriatic Skin?

Danli Zhong

British Journal of Dermatology · 2026

Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

This Letter discusses a methodological concern in the transcriptomic analysis by Zhan et al., in which ZeitZeiger was used to infer sampling time in psoriatic skin datasets. Because several treatment-responsive clock genes may also contribute to molecular time prediction, additional diagnostics are needed to distinguish restoration of temporal immune organization from treatment-related predictor drift.
