Introduction and Objective: The Federal Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy (COFFITO) defines a physical therapist as a healthcare professional with higher education, qualified for diagnosis and prescription of physiotherapeutic treatments. After graduation, physical therapists face challenges that require the practical application of acquired skills, including entrepreneurial abilities. This study aimed to identify the entrepreneurial profile of students in the Physical Therapy program at the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG) and assess their management and entrepreneurship competencies. Methods: This was a descriptive observational study conducted with students in their 9th and 10th semesters of the Physical Therapy program at UNIFAL-MG, from February to April 2023. Personal characteristics and perceptions of knowledge in management, finance, entrepreneurship, and innovation were evaluated using the "Academic Entrepreneurial Profile Assessment" questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean, median, and standard deviation) in IBM SPSS 29.0.1.0. Results: Forty-one students participated, aged between 21 and 29 years (mean 24.34 ± 1.65), with a majority being female (75.6%). The entrepreneurial profile was classified as "superior" (164.50 points). "Opportunity Seeking and Vision" received the highest score (4.66 ± 1.07), while "Moderate Risk-Taking Ability" scored the lowest (3.57 ± 0.78). Conclusion: The sample demonstrated an entrepreneurial profile classified as "superior" or "upper-middle." Although most participants did not rate their knowledge as "good" or "very good," all recognized the importance of management, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills for professional practice. This study highlights the need for further research in this area, given its relevance.
