Erectile dysfunction is a common and important health problem that affects the quality of life of individuals and their partners. Although its etiology includes various factors, the majority of cases have organic causes. In cases of organic ED, lifestyle modification remains the main approach, and oral phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors make up the main part of non-invasive management. Additionally, intraurethral suppositories, extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT), and vacuum erection devices are also effective non-invasive alternatives. Invasive treatment modalities include intracavernosal injection therapy and penile prosthesis implantation, which are among the most commonly applied options. In recent years, novel therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapy have emerged as promising and rapidly developing treatment approaches.
