Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

Consistent use of antiretroviral therapy (ART) is essential for achieving viral suppression, enhancing well-being, and lowering illness and death among individuals living with HIV. Although Rwanda has made significant strides toward meeting the UNAIDS 95-95-95 goals by providing universal access to free ART, gaps in adherence still hinder optimal treatment outcomes in certain groups. Exploring the behavioral, psychological, and health system-related factors that influence adherence is crucial for developing effective, targeted interventions. This study examined the magnitude of ART non-adherence and its associated determinants among patients receiving HIV care at Kibungo Referral Hospital in Eastern Rwanda.
