ABSTRACT Daily maintenance of Digital Radiography (DR) equipment is necessary to maintain equipment readiness, support the continuity of radiology services, and reduce the potential for disruptions during patient examinations. This study aimed to describe the implementation of daily maintenance of DR equipment, identify factors affecting maintenance effectiveness, and describe the evaluation and documentation system at the Radiology Installation of RSUD dr. Gunawan Mangunkusumo Ambarawa. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach conducted from September 2025 to April 2026. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the head of the radiology unit, radiographers, medical physicists/Radiation Protection Officers (RPOs), and biomedical equipment technicians selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that daily maintenance was carried out through warming up, collimation checks, inspection of the physical condition of the equipment, equipment cleanliness, computer and detector checks, and monitoring of room conditions, supported by a daily checklist. The implementation of maintenance was influenced by the absence of a specific SOP for DR equipment, limited time due to service activities, interstaff coordination, budget limitations, and the absence of a permanent service contract with the vendor. Evaluation and documentation were conducted using checklists, logbooks, and work orders as part of maintenance records and follow-up of equipment problems. The study concludes that daily maintenance has been routinely implemented, but strengthening SOPs and documentation is necessary to establish a more structured and optimal DR maintenance management system. ABSTRAK Perawatan harian pesawat Digital Radiography (DR) diperlukan untuk mempertahankan kesiapan peralatan, mendukung kelancaran pelayanan radiologi, serta mengurangi potensi gangguan selama pemeriksaan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan perawatan harian pesawat DR, faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas pemeliharaan, serta sistem evaluasi dan dokumentasi di Instalasi Radiologi RSUD dr. Gunawan Mangunkusumo Ambarawa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan pada September 2025–April 2026. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala ruangan radiologi, radiografer, fisikawan medis/Petugas Proteksi Radiasi (PPR), dan teknisi elektromedik yang dipilih secara purposive. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perawatan dilakukan melalui warming up, pemeriksaan kolimasi, kondisi fisik pesawat, kebersihan alat, komputer, detektor, serta kondisi lingkungan ruangan dengan dukungan checklist harian. Pelaksanaan perawatan dipengaruhi oleh belum tersedianya SOP khusus DR, keterbatasan waktu akibat aktivitas pelayanan, koordinasi antarpetugas, keterbatasan anggaran, dan belum adanya kontrak servis tetap dengan vendor. Evaluasi dan dokumentasi dilakukan melalui checklist, logbook, dan bon kerja sebagai bagian dari pencatatan pemeliharaan dan tindak lanjut gangguan. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa perawatan telah dilaksanakan secara rutin, tetapi diperlukan penguatan SOP dan dokumentasi agar pengelolaan pemeliharaan DR lebih terstruktur dan optimal.
