Objective: The objective of this study was to ascertain the impact of L-PRF and I-PRF-impregnated type I collagen on postoperative complications (pain, edema, and trismus) following impacted third molar surgery.Material and Method: The study comprised two groups. The sequence of surgical interventions and the allocation of subjects to groups were determined through a randomization process. Subsequent to the surgical procedure, postoperative measurements were obtained from the patients. The first group received L-PRF (2700 rpm, 12 min); the second group received I-PRF (700 rpm, 3 min) impregnated with type I collagen. The statistical analysis of the data was conducted using IBM SPSS V23.Results: When mouth opening and edema measurements were compared between the groups, no statistically significant difference was found between the median values in the evaluations.
