Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?
This study examines the impact of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) on Organizational Performance and investigates the mediating role of Competitive Intelligence in the relationship between GHRM and Organizational Performance in the hotel sector. A total of 379 managers and supervisors from hotels in Uttarakhand, India, were surveyed, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that GHRM has a significant positive effect on Competitive Intelligence, which in turn enhances Organizational Performance. Competitive Intelligence is also found to significantly mediate the relationship between GHRM and Organizational Performance. This study highlights Competitive Intelligence as a strategic mechanism through which sustainable HR practices contribute to organizational success in the hospitality industry. Theoretically, the study extends the AMO framework by positioning Competitive Intelligence as a key mediating mechanism linking GHRM with organizational outcomes. Methodologically, it validates GHRM as a higher-order construct using PLS-SEM and provides empirical evidence from the hotel industry in an emerging economy context.
