Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

Learning ethics based on educational studies has been proven to play an important role in improving students ethical and moral attitudes toward teachers, which have become an increasing concern in contemporary education. Therefore, it is necessary to further examine whether the Qur’anic teachings remain relevant in addressing this issue. This study aims to analyze learning ethics through the story of Prophet Musa (Moses) and Prophet Khidr in Surah Al-Kahf verses 60–82. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research by examining various references from books, tafsir literature, and scientific articles. The Qur’an and classical as well as contemporary tafsir works serve as the primary sources of data, while journal articles are used as supporting references. This study applies the thematic interpretation (tafsir mawdhu‘i) method. The results indicate that the learning ethics reflected in the story of Prophet Musa and Prophet Khidr include the concept of Unlearning Ethics found in Surah Al-Kahf verses 60–82. This concept is illustrated through three aspects: 1) verse 67, which represents the prediction of challenges and failure in the unlearning process; 2) verse 68, which establishes the foundation of unlearning ethics; and 3) verse 70, which provides a practical method for implementing unlearning ethics. Furthermore, the contextualization of unlearning ethics in the contemporary digital era can be applied by developing self-restraint in responding to information on social media, especially when encountering information that contradicts personal knowledge or assumptions amid the rapid spread of information.
