Vollständiger Abstract
Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?
I discovered Annette Loreau’s book right at the University of Chicago Press booth at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the American Anthropological Association. This prestigious academic press has a renowned collection of textbooks on social science research methods aimed primarily at students, graduate students, and professors, which it continually expands with new titles. The book is written as a conversation between the author and a student, but without the off-putting style of a textbook. Written predominantly using the second person—a common choice among authors of university textbooks—it initially appears to be a work intended primarily for students, but as you read through it, you realize how useful it is for all qualitative researchers in general.
