Vollständiger Abstract
Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?
Nursing professional training is consolidated through the integration of theory with clinical practice. This study aims to describe the learning experiences of clinical practice among nursing students at the University of Colima during the 2024-2025 period. A qualitative design with a social phenomenology approach was implemented, collecting data through semi-structured and in-depth interviews. From a population of 110 students, a convenience sample of nine ninth-semester students fulfilling their mandatory social service requirement was selected. The findings identify that clinical learning is based on direct contact with real-world settings, faculty guidance, and authentic learning. However, this process presents ambivalence as students transition from an adaptation period that generates fear and anxiety due to the demands of the environment to a transformative experience that consolidates the technical and socio-emotional competencies necessary for patient care.
