Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

Educational technology has transformed how university students access information, participate in classes, and construct new knowledge. This research aimed to analyze the digital strategies used in higher education to strengthen self-directed learning and academic performance, considering their benefits, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. A systematic literature review was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, enabling the rigorous selection and analysis of 26 scientific studies. The results showed that virtual platforms, blended learning, gamification, formative assessment, digital feedback, and adaptive systems helped students organize their activities, recognize their progress, and take a more active role in their education. The study concluded that technology has opened new opportunities to develop more flexible, dynamic, and responsive educational experiences that better meet students' needs. However, it was also acknowledged that digital tools alone did not guarantee improved learning outcomes, as their true contribution depended on lesson planning, content quality, connectivity, digital skills, and the support provided throughout the educational process.
