THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY PARADIGM BASED ON THE CONCEPT OF “ACTIVE FAITH”

Contemporary social psychology is often trapped in secular paradigms that separate the dimension of spirituality from the reality of human behavior, thereby frequently failing to explain the ideological drives capable of fundamentally transforming the social order. This research aims to reconstruct the social psychology paradigm through an in-depth analysis of the “active faith” concept in the book “The General Pattern of Islamic Thought in the Qur’an” by Sayid Ali Khamenei. This idea is expected to be beneficial in providing a framework for strengthening social cohesion and community empowerment strategies based on the authority of revelation. The method used in this research is library research with a content analysis approach to dissect the thought structure within the primary text. The findings indicate that the concept of “active faith” successfully shifts the understanding of faith from a passive internal belief to a systematic and sustainable motor of social action. In conclusion, this reconstruction offers a new methodology that views humans not as reactive subjects to the environment, but as proactive agents of change with a civilizational orientation. This paradigm is highly relevant for building mental resilience and ideological independence within society amidst the current global modern crisis.
