Vollständiger Abstract
Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?
To guaranty that children with special needs have equal access to learning opportunities within regular classrooms, inclusive education has grown into a major educational strategy. All students, regardless of their cognitive, emotional, social, or linguistic abilities, should have equal access to a highquality education that promotes equity. The present study examines inclusive education practices implemented for children with special needs and evaluates their effectiveness in promoting academic achievement, social integration, emotional development, and educational equity. The research investigates teaching methodologies, policy frameworks, infrastructural support, teacher preparedness, parental involvement, and classroom adaptation strategies associated with inclusive education. A qualitative and analytical research methodology based on secondary data analysis and review of previous empirical studies has been adopted. The findings reveal that inclusive education significantly improves social participation, self-confidence, communication skills, and academic performance among children with special needs when adequate support systems are available. However, challenges such as insufficient teacher training, lack of infrastructure, negative societal attitudes, inadequate learning resources, and policy implementation gaps continue to hinder effective inclusion. The study concludes that successful inclusive education requires collaborative efforts among teachers, parents, policymakers, administrators, and communities. The integration of assistive technologies, individualized learning strategies, and inclusive teaching practices can enhance educational outcomes and social development for children with special needs.
