Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?
The integration of nanobiomaterials and synthetic biology has become an important research direction in modern biomedical engineering. Nanobiomaterials possess unique physicochemical properties, including high surface-area-to-volume ratios, excellent biocompatibility, and controllable drug release capabilities, while synthetic biology enables the design of programmable biological systems through genetic engineering and molecular regulation. The convergence of these two interdisciplinary fields has significantly accelerated innovation in targeted drug delivery, tissue engineering, biosensors, disease diagnostics, and cancer therapy. This paper systematically analyzes the theoretical foundations, integration mechanisms, biomedical applications, technological challenges, and future development trends of nanobiomaterials and synthetic biology. The study demonstrates that nanobiomaterials can improve the stability, delivery efficiency, and responsiveness of synthetic biological systems, whereas synthetic biology introduces intelligent regulation and functional programmability into nanoenabled biomedical platforms. In biomedical applications, integrated systems have shown remarkable advantages in improving therapeutic precision, reducing side effects, enhancing early disease detection, and promoting regenerative medicine. However, several challenges remain, including nanotoxicity, biosafety concerns, ethical issues, manufacturing complexity, and regulatory limitations. The paper further discusses future development trends, including intelligent biomedical systems, personalized medicine, and industrial commercialization. Overall, the integration of nanobiomaterials and synthetic biology represents a transformative advancement in biomedical science and is expected to play a critical role in the future development of precision medicine and intelligent healthcare systems.
