Abstract Real‐time prediction of effluent quality is essential for stable wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) operation, but direct laboratory measurements of chemical oxygen demand (CODe), total nitrogen (TNe), and total phosphorus (TPe) are often delayed and discontinuous.
