Abstract The Milky Way metal-rich halo-like component, also known as the Splash, consists of old (age > 10 Gyr), metal-rich ([Fe/H] > −0.7), high- α stars, i.e., thick-disk-like chemistry, on halo-like orbits (eccentricity > 0.6). Its origin is linked to stars formed in the disk and dynamically heated by either internal or external agents. Factors for Avoiding Counseling Despite Experiencing Cognitive Impairment in South Korea

This study examined factors associated with not seeking counseling among 46,156 Korean adults who experienced cognitive impairment in the past year, using data from the 2024 Korea Community Health Survey. Only 8.1% sought counseling. Age-stratified logistic regression showed that counseling-seeking increased with greater disruption of daily activities.
