This study unveils the dynamics of the 2024 Maiduguri flood disaster, assessing its root causes, extensive impacts, and the coping strategies adopted by affected communities. Fieldwork was conducted across heavily impacted areas, including Alau Dam, Galtimari, Fori Bridge, and Shetimari.
