Autochthonous chikungunya virus outbreak in Verona province, Italy, 2025
Abstract Background Chikungunya virus (CHIKV), primarily transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes, has increasingly caused autochthonous outbreaks in temperate regions, including Italy.
